Apple is already thinking about the AirPods 3 (and more)
Nikkei Asia is reporting the news. The published report on the official website brings news about several Apple products: the AirPods 3, a new range of MacBook Pro, and the iPhone 13.
The platform states that production of the new headphones should start in August 2021. With a very similar, albeit more rounded, design, the AirPods 3 are expected to bring many new features.
Production about to begin
Although Apple has only released the AirPods Pro (without a second version) for now, everything indicates that the American company is already thinking about the future. The third version is already designed, and some renders are already circulating on the internet.
Mass production will begin in August 2021. For this reason, it is not yet known when the AirPods 3 will actually be launched.
The same is not true for the iPhone 13 — which should arrive in 2021 (in September, if the brand follows tradition) — and the new range of MacBook Pro computers.
Similar design and features
According to some rumours, it is possible that Apple will not invest in the second edition of AirPods Pro, moving directly to the third. However, there is no guarantee that this information is, in fact, true.
What is still expected is a very similar product. The AirPods 3 should, regardless, have a slightly more rounded design. The silicone ear tips may come in more sizes for greater customisation.
It remains to be seen whether the new Apple headphones will also have Active Noise Cancellation. In other words, this technology allows for the cancellation of all external noise — favouring the sound reproduced by the headphones.
This is how the brand distinguishes itself from the competition, especially from brands like Beats By Dr. Dre, which excels in this technology. The truth is that AirPods Pro already include this novelty, so now there can only be some evolution.
Although production is about to begin, everything indicates that the iPhone 13 will be the first gadget to be launched. The AirPods 3 may, therefore, see the light of day in 2022.
