iPhone 13 pode chegar com o novo WiFi 6E - ISELL & REPAIR

iPhone 13 may come with new WiFi 6E

A new way to browse the internet is about to arrive. Wi-Fi 6E was announced in 2020. There were many rumours trying to guess which smartphones the new version would be available on — but always without success.

What is certain is that, to this day, no brand has confirmed the news. But now everything points to the launch of the iPhone 13. Apple's new flagship should arrive later in 2021, with even faster internet access.

Wi-Fi 6E: what we already know

Wi-Fi 6E brings a framework that revolutionises internet access. In short, this means that, with its use, browsing becomes much faster.

The generation prior to this new update (Wi-Fi 6) uses 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radio bands (just like previous ones, namely 5). With Wi-Fi 6E, everything changes, as it exceeds 6 GHz.

In other words, the new update allows for fast browsing with little (or no) congestion.

Another great new feature is the range that Wi-Fi 6E allows. This means that, even in rooms separated by very thick walls, you will be able to browse the internet without failures.

You will also be able to access Wi-Fi 6E in underground floors. Presumably, those closer to ground level will be able to get the same network quality — ensuring equal performance and speed.

Wi-Fi 6E and mobile devices

Supporting this advance in terms of browsing itself is not an easy task. Still, everything indicates that, with iPhones (even refurbished ones), the same will happen as with routers.

Since the latter should be able to support the Wi-Fi 6E network without difficulty (only needing a firmware update), the same should happen with mobile devices.

However, those that come prepared to receive it — as should be the case with the iPhone 13 — will be at a clear advantage. Nevertheless, models like the iPhone 12 are expected to be able to access the same network speed without problem.

Following tradition, Apple is expected to unveil the new iPhone 13 in mid-September 2021. Until then, we can only wait to see if the new device, in addition to design changes and components, will also be prepared for this great novelty.
