Siri updates: all it needs is to be a person
There has been much speculation about Apple's new products, and the truth is that the brand doesn't want to disappoint its customers. Proof of this is the renewed Siri, which arrives at the same time as iOS 15 — between September and the end of 2021.
The American company has been very focused on new products and updates to existing ones. Therefore, this (major) update to Siri was anything but expected.
An almost humanized assistant is expected, with much faster processing and (even) closer personalization.
Hey, Siri.
The avalanche of updates that come with Siri will only be available on the latest devices. In other words, this means that only devices with an A12 processor (and newer) will receive the new features.
Of course, this includes not only iPhones but also iPads and MacBooks. Apple devices can, therefore, expect a very advanced and, above all, faster personal assistant.
Voice recognition and personalization (in relation to the user) will be improved. Therefore, there will be a broader recognition of everyday words and expressions.
No internet? No problem
This is, without a doubt, the biggest advancement Siri will bring. From iOS 15, you won't need an internet connection to talk to your favorite assistant.
Siri will work offline for requests such as activating/deactivating alarms, opening applications, and even controlling music. This will undoubtedly be one of the biggest changes implemented.
But the news doesn't end here, because this is, truly, the biggest update Siri has ever received.
Siri: all that's missing is for her to be a person
We could say "all that's missing is for her to speak," but we would be lying. Apple's assistant is more advanced than ever and will master new contexts, providing increasingly accurate answers to your questions.
From iOS 15, you won't have to worry about isolated phrases. If you ask Siri what time McDonald's is open and then want to know how to get there, the assistant will understand what "there" you are referring to.
There will, therefore, be little room for confusion. Siri will become an increasingly autonomous and quick assistant in her responses. All so that users' experience is the best ever.
We can only wait for the news to find out if, after all, Siri, iOS 15, and the iPhone 13 will arrive at the same time.
