Preço do iPhone 13 vai aumentar, sugere novo relatório - ISELL & REPAIR

iPhone 13 price to increase, new report suggests

There is a new report anticipating a price increase for the iPhone 13. The reason? Apparently, this increase is due to another increase — in the production cost of the chips (assumed by TSMC, a Taiwanese company that supplies various brands).

These components, which should be related to the new Apple processor, seem to be the source of the "problem". iPhones, which are already sold for over €800 (depending on the version), may now see a new increase.

New iPhone 13 price suggests improvements

Apple has accustomed its users to constant improvements — not only externally but also internally. Indeed, it is in this area that the biggest changes are made, so that the improvement of Apple devices is recurrent.

The price increase of the iPhone 13 can be justified by this logic. According to the published report, the production cost of these chips will increase by 20%. This information, already confirmed by TSMC, may indeed increase the value of the new iPhone.

The Taiwanese supplier also states that it has already informed all customers, justifying the increase with the use of more advanced technologies in the manufacturing process.

Although this price increase will only be implemented from January 2022, Apple will not want to wait. Apparently, the American company will update its prices already at the next launch (which should happen in September 2021).

Apple doesn't want to risk losing profit, so it anticipates

Everything indicates that this is exactly what will happen. The price of the iPhone 13 (which should support the new WiFi 6E) will increase and, most likely, be set at an unprecedented level.

The report goes further, stating that "Apple is likely to set higher prices for its next iPhone and other series (...)".

The document also states that this happened with other brands, computer manufacturers, "who increased their prices by 5-10%(...)".

As Apple is focusing on significant improvements in the iPhone 13 (thinking of professional photographers and videographers, more specifically), it is likely that this price increase will indeed happen.

Gone are the years when a new iPhone was launched at the same price as the previous one. Now, the brand invests in several versions of the same smartphone, in order to establish a range for different audiences.

The iPhone 13 should be arriving soon, full of internal improvements. But, apparently, it doesn't come alone. A new Apple Watch should be launched, already equipped with watch OS 8.
