Apple Music pode estar a chegar à Tesla - ISELL & REPAIR

Apple Music may be coming to Tesla

The code of Tesla's latest software update has been changed and has lifted the veil. All indications are that Apple Music is indeed coming to electric cars—which, if confirmed, opens the door to a historic partnership.

Apple Music is the American brand's music streaming service, available on all its devices—such as the iPhone 12. What is speculated, however, is that this will not be the only service available in Tesla cars.

Apple and company bring music to Tesla

The good news is announced by Macworld, one of the biggest Apple-related news sites. But the truth is that it's not just Apple's music service that could be coming to Tesla cars.

According to a new code update—associated with an update to the system of American electric cars—Tidal and Amazon Music are also in the running.

But everything indicates that there will be no winners. Apparently, Tesla will indeed offer integration with all these streaming services—including Apple Music.

To date, Elon Musk's company only offered the possibility of connecting to Spotify. However, it is also true that, at the beginning of 2020, Tesla confirmed it was in negotiations with Tidal.

Clash of the titans

Behind what seems like a natural partnership, there is a real duel. The truth is that Apple Music—which is part of Apple One—is only available, to date, on Porsche's system.

If the rumor is confirmed, the competition is growing ever larger. The truth is that Porsche has also started to develop electric cars, which makes the brand an obvious competitor to Tesla.

It remains to be seen whether, in fact, the news is true. All indications are that it is, since the system update is public—and some developers were quick enough to realize the possibility of Apple Music integration.

Even so, it is not known when it will be possible to use Apple's streaming service in Tesla cars. In any case, this update should be almost ready for use.
