New Apple Watch feature alerts you when your heart rate is low
The feature isn't exactly new, but its use is. Now it's easier to monitor your heart rate—without even having to think about it. The new Apple Watch feature will ensure you're always on top of your health.
But to activate this feature, you need at least iOS 14.3 and watchOS 7.2 (installed on your iPhone and Apple Watch, respectively). Then, just activate the respective notifications.
Control your heart rate
It's no secret: one of the great advantages of having this smartwatch is heart rate monitoring. This data is always available in the Apple Health app.
It's also true that you can measure your heart rate whenever you want—just activate that function on your Apple Watch.
The big change is in the autonomy that the watch now has. After launching Apple Fitness+, automatic heart rate measurement is the next new feature.

Cardiorespiratory fitness level monitored
Apple's new feature now allows you to always be alerted when your heart rate is too fast or too slow. The good news is that you don't need to measure any of this, because the Apple Watch does the work for you.
You can be running by the sea or working. It doesn't matter what activity you're doing. What matters is that you'll receive a notification whenever your heart rate is too high or too low.
This measurement translates into cardiorespiratory fitness levels—now available on iPhone 12 or earlier. This value is, in turn, measured based on the oxygen you have in your blood.
In other words, this means that you'll always be able to keep track of any changes.
These are important values that can alert you to potential health problems—which can often happen with heart disease, diabetes, or hypertension.
But of course, you shouldn't replace these assessments with medical advice. In fact, that's the advice you should listen to if you need it.
To activate the new feature, you need to access the Health app on your iPhone. It's there that you activate the measurement of your cardiorespiratory levels and thus become aware of any changes.
