Time to Walk: Apple's new immersive experience

It's another one of the American brand's big new releases. While the time to unveil new technology hasn't arrived yet—such as another iPad or a new range of AirPods—Apple is focusing on launching innovative products.

Such is the case with Time to Walk, a kind of podcast that accompanies you throughout the day, or during your physical activity. The idea is that, while you take long walks, you listen to what well-known personalities have to tell—but the truth is that you can even be cleaning the house.

Time to Walk: what it is and how to listen

Time to Walk is Apple's new experience. For now, this is an exclusive feature of Apple Fitness+. The novelty? The fact that you can listen to the stories that some famous figures have to tell.

Among the most well-known names are Shawn Mendes, Dolly Parton, Draymond Green, and Uzo Aduba. In episodes ranging from 15 to 40 minutes, users can listen to truly inspiring audio.

Indeed, that is one of the main goals of Time to Walk. The other is to encourage physical activity. It was also with this in mind that the brand moved forward with this project, titling it "Time to Walk."

By inviting well-known personalities from the world of music and sports, for example, Apple essentially wanted to inspire and motivate its users.

In these episodes, you can hear stories, shared memories, less good moments, and the power and status achieved after overcoming obstacles. The audio is accompanied by photos, which are shown and enlarged on the Apple Watch—soon to receive the new watchOS 8.

Then, as the story nears its end, each guest presents the playlist of songs they prepared for their listeners' walk to continue. These lists include hand-picked songs that are considered inspiring for each of the personalities.

New episodes are released on Mondays in the Workout app. It's not yet known who the next guests will be, so you (really) need to keep an eye on the releases.

But remember that, to listen to Time to Walk, you need to have an active Apple Fitness+ subscription; otherwise, you won't find any of the mentioned episodes.
