Everything you need to know about the new watchOS 8

The new watchOS 8 has already been announced by Apple. It is seen as the most advanced operating system (for smartwatches) on the market. It arrives improved, with new features and even more personalized.

The Home app and Wallet have been improved. Breathe will be renamed and given a new purpose. Oh! And there are also new workout modes for you to use whenever you feel like it.

What you can expect from watchOS 8

We had already anticipated some of the new features of watchOS 8, but now Apple has confirmed many more. There are several incredible features that you will be able to experience, and that should arrive on your wrist in the fall of 2021.

Simpler to use Wallet

It is one of the brand's most famous applications, and it's easy to see why. This digital wallet allows you to make contactless payments, which do not require a physical card.

Now, the interface has been simplified. And it will also be possible to add, in addition to hotel reservations, your driver's license. However, this is a feature that, for now, will only be tested in the US.

Remember Breathe? The application that reminds you to breathe at certain times of the day? Well, you might as well forget it exists. Now it's called Mindfulness and it wants to convince you of the benefits of meditation.

No, it's not an obligation, but something you can explore. Force yourself to stop and follow the advice of this application. You'll see that your day will go (much) better from then on.

These new features (and a few others) should arrive on the Apple Watch in the coming months. Although certain features will only be available in the US, everything indicates that, with the necessary confirmations, the company will make them available all over the world.
