iPhone 12: discover all models
The iPhone 12 has arrived and brings new features. In addition to the "base" model, there's also the Pro and Pro Max versions, as well as the Mini (which will be available later). Apple had already confirmed that the iPhone 12 was coming, eventually confirming the news at the last event.
iPhone 12: 4 models announced
There are four new models announced by Apple, available for pre-order from October 16th. After much speculation, the American brand finally confirms that its latest model will indeed be launched.
The big news, common to all versions, is the 5G network, supported by all models—iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
What is most noticeable at first glance is undoubtedly the size difference between all models. Apple therefore remains faithful to the sizes it has always commercialized, but now introduces a new one—the iPhone Mini, which is reminiscent of the old iPhone 5.
Now, in addition to the sizes, Apple has decided to return to the square design, leaving circular edges behind and embarking on a journey back in time that remains, despite everything, very current and advanced.

More resistant materials
Apple has chosen more resistant materials and made a point of including them in all models. Now, there's a ceramic shield on the exterior of the iPhone 12, which increases its resistance, so it's not as easily damaged after a fall, for example.
The display's resistance has also been improved, which makes it more difficult for scratches to appear and further contributes to the presentation of clearer colors and images than ever before.
Internal improvements
As expected, there's a new processing chip, the A14 Bionic, faster than its predecessor—something necessary, even, to keep up with the speed of the new iOS 14.
The resolution of the rear cameras remains the same, but there are improved technologies, such as Night Mode and also Portrait Mode (used to capture selfies).
Pre-orders for the new iPhone 12 are already available on the Apple website and can be placed from October 16th. The cheapest model will cost €829.
