New iMacs, MacBooks, and iPads: Apple's surprises for 2023 and 2024
In the world of technological innovation, Apple Inc. continues to be an indomitable force, especially as its product roadmap for 2023 and 2024 reveals an intriguing range of gadgets, including the much-anticipated 30-inch iMac. The World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) hosted by Apple this year served as the stage for the unveiling of the new Apple Vision Pro, scheduled for release in early 2024. However, there are several other products in the pipeline.
One of the most anticipated products is the iPhone 15. As expected, Apple will maintain its annual tradition of launching a modernized iPhone in the autumn of 2023. The iPhone 15 is expected to launch alongside three other models – the iPhone 15 Pro, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and rumors anticipate the possibility of a new "Ultra" model. Among the notable features of the iPhone 15 are its curved edges, the implementation of Dynamic Island on all models, and the introduction of a USB-C port as an alternative to the Lightning connector. Turning our attention to Apple's computers, the iMac will receive a refreshing breath of fresh air by the end of the year. Codenamed J433 and J434, two new 24-inch iMacs with notable improvements, such as M3 chips, are rumored to be introduced. Simultaneously, the iPad Pro is expected to come equipped with an OLED screen, perhaps as early as 2024. This transition to OLED may also be accompanied by a price increase.
Apple's major trump card in the wearables sector continues to flourish with the planned launch of the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra. The Series 9 watch, rumored to be equipped with the A15 Bionic-based S9 chip, promises a significant improvement in performance. In turn, it is speculated that the Apple Watch Ultra will adopt a microLED display, potentially brighter and larger than the current OLED version.
