New MacBook Air arrives in 2022 (and it's full of colours)
There are already several rumours confirming the news. The new MacBook Air may indeed be a reality in 2022. To mark the launch, the brand will invest in a new design, as well as significant internal improvements.
MacBook Air arrives with a new design
No, it's not just the (new) colours that will accompany the MacBook Air. It seems that the design itself will also undergo changes.
This, which is Apple's cheapest computer, should arrive with a format similar to that of the MacBook Pro. This means that, in principle, the new Air will no longer have such a tapered design.
It is true that this design allowed it to be lighter and thus become a much more compact computer. However, it seems that Apple is ready to turn this conventional design around.
With it, new colours arrive. Similar to what happened with the new 24'' iMac, the MacBook Air will arrive in different colours (lighter, and nothing like the brand's traditional white and grey tones).
New computer, improved performance
There isn't a launch Apple makes that doesn't guarantee an upgrade to the internal features of each device. Therefore, the arrival of the new MacBook Air could not be an exception.
It is almost guaranteed that the new Air will arrive with a new screen, with superb image quality. All indications are that the display will be a mini LED, capable of presenting the sharpest image ever.
It is also expected that the new Air will bring a (much) better processor than the current one.
If the latest trend is confirmed, Apple's choice should fall on the M1, the first proprietary chipset — although there may be an Apple M2 (as an improved edition of the first version) by then.
With all these increments, it is possible that the new MacBook Air will be sold at a higher price. Even so, it is likely that it will not exceed the value of MacBooks — thus remaining Apple's cheapest computer.
The wait is long, but necessary. Until 2022 arrives, nothing can actually be confirmed about the new MacBook Air.
