Colourful iMacs again? All signs point to yes
The news comes from Mac Rumors, a well-known platform for sharing Apple-related news. It appears that the American company will once again manufacture iMacs in different colors.
When the computer was first launched in 1998, it came in several colors. It was available in blue, orange, green, red, and purple—in very vibrant shades. However, as the years passed and the computer became lighter and thinner, this trend faded.
Apple adopted a more understated and minimalist style, reserving more vibrant colors for the iPhone. This choice has remained until today, but it seems that it will not for much longer. All indications are that the new iMacs, arriving in 2021, will be available in several colors.
iMac to feature 5 new colors
The image circulating on the internet shows 5 different colors. If the news is confirmed, the iMac will be available in: Silver, Space Gray, Green, Sky Blue, and Rose Gold.
Thus, the computer will adopt the colors available on the iPad and showcase a more discreet style. Pastel colors will dominate and accompany the new Apple iMac—which, incidentally, should also bring internal improvements.

With this decision, the brand hopes to rekindle users' memories and bring back the vibrant colors of the first iMacs—which garnered fans worldwide.
Apparently, the new computer should be thinner and lighter, but Apple has not yet confirmed any of these suspicions. In fact, it is not even known in which month the new iMac will see the light of day.
New processor on the horizon
In addition to this "colorful novelty," the new computer is expected to feature a more powerful processor to improve the overall performance of the equipment.
The Mac Pro, as this new processor is known, should be the successor to the current chipset. It is possible that this will arrive as an external component, meaning it does not function inside the iMac.
This would not be new, as the Mac mini performs a similar function today. It remains to be seen whether all the news is confirmed or if, on the other hand, we will have to wait longer to learn about Apple's innovations in this area.
