Apple's Find My network extended to other brands

Apple Find My is a service that allows you to know, in real-time, where your devices are. In other words, this means that after pairing your gadget, it will always be accompanied.

For the service to work fully, you must activate it in your device's settings. From that moment on, you can connect it to any Apple device, such as iPhone, MacBook, iPad, Apple Watch, and more.

But the new development is that you can now integrate devices from other brands. This means that Apple Find My can also monitor other devices.

Apple Find My network now works with other brands

Apple's Find My app basically works based on a map. This, in turn, shows where each of the connected devices is located.

This feature is very useful when you lose a device or someone attacks you, for example. In other words, devices may disappear from your line of sight, but never from Apple Find My.

This app constantly monitors the location of each of the gadgets you have paired, and now other brands are also compatible — as, until now, the app only worked with Apple devices.

Three brands are already welcome to this tracking service: VanMoof and its bikes; Belkin and its wireless earbuds; and Chipolo, which also has its own small tracking device.

Find your devices in seconds

That's the truth. The advantage of activating Apple Find My is that you can always know where your electronic devices are. This happens, for example, when you lose them or when you are assaulted.

And even if this doesn't happen, the service is still active. It is one of the brand's latest innovations, which will also soon launch a sleep monitoring sensor — and it is, in fact, one of the most useful.

It turns out that even if the lost device does not have an internet connection at that moment, Apple Find My will (still) find it.

How? Via Bluetooth. This type of connection ensures that no device is ever lost, even if it is not online. Therefore, Apple's functionality remains active and secure at all times, allowing constant monitoring, even in the most unlikely situations.
