The new MacBook Pro is coming at the end of the year
July 1, 2021
There were already rumors that Apple would not announce any further launches in 2021, at least not before the much-anticipated iPhone 13. But everything indicates that there will be one more novelty: the MacBook Pro with a mini-LED display.
This news comes from Digitimes, which states that Apple has already started contacting suppliers in this regard. If confirmed, this will be the first time a MacBook Pro with such advanced display technology is launched.
New MacBook Pro: what we know so far
Although Apple does not confirm or deny this information, many rumors are growing online. They take the news for granted. The biggest novelty is the display technology: mini-LED.
It turns out that this is a very powerful benefit, as well as a great advantage for any computer. The new MacBook Pro, true to tradition, is expected to be launched in two versions: 14-inch and 16-inch.
Mini-LED technology has so far only been implemented in the iPad Pro, which can only mean that the performance met Apple's expectations.
MacBook Pro with mini-LED: what changes
The main difference between this technology and the previous one, used for example in the latest MacBook Pro 13, is the (huge) backlight system. In the case of mini-LED technology, this system no longer exists.
In other words, this illumination is reduced and divided into several dimming areas — which, in turn, allow for greater contrast and improved sharpness.
In terms of processing, improvements are also expected. After the success of the Apple M1, the first processor for computers developed by the brand (which until now only used Intel Core), there may be novelties.
Therefore, the new MacBook Pro could be equipped with a faster and more powerful processor. If it follows logic, it could be called "Apple M2," but there is no information yet to confirm this hypothesis.
Regarding materials, there are no major confirmations yet. Initially, the new MacBook Pro will be lighter and possibly have new colors, according to some sources.
We still have a few months to wait to learn about the brand's new computer. This one could come with up to 64GB of RAM and between two and three Thunderbolt inputs.
