New Apple Watch will have significantly larger screen

Rumours about the new Apple Watch are already circulating and setting the digital world abuzz. A significantly larger screen, the possibility of a temperature sensor, longer battery life and improved sleep monitoring. These are the rumours circulating about the Apple Watch Series 8, which will be launched in September.

The latest rumour was revealed by display industry analyst Ross Young. The new Apple Watch Series 8 will have a larger screen than its predecessor.

Apple Watch Series 8: new features on the way

It will only be presented in September, but the forecasts for the new Apple Watch are encouraging. According to Ross Young, on his Twitter account, this new model will feature a 1.99-inch screen. In practice, this translates into a dial of about 50mm. For comparison, the Apple Watch Series 7 is available with 41 and 45 mm dials. This means that the screen of the new Apple Watch 8 will be 12% larger than the 45mm version of the Apple Watch 7 and 23% larger compared to the 41mm version.

The question remains: will Apple continue to offer the Apple Watch Series 8 in two sizes?

Another possible new feature is related to battery life, which is expected to be longer, as the Apple Watch continues to have fairly poor battery life.

In addition to the battery, it could also be the version for the much-desired body temperature sensor, a long-standing and recurring request from Apple fans. This information was revealed by Mark Gurman, from Bloomberg, who believes that the next edition of the Apple Watch will have the ability to check if the user has a fever. Although the measurement of the user's body temperature is not exact, rumours say that a notification will be sent advising a visit to the doctor.

Even so, we can only wait for the official presentation of the new Apple Watch Series 8, in September this year, to clarify all doubts and see the new features.
