iPhone SE 3 set to arrive in 2022 (full of new features)
Tests have already begun and point to only one hypothesis: the iPhone SE 3 should be launched in early 2022. After the iPhone 13, there was no news confirming the (possible) return of the SE model — unlike what we know today.
The iPhone SE is Apple's bet for a younger market — one that doesn't want to invest as much money in a smartphone. It uses cheaper materials and has distinct features from the brand's top-of-the-line models. Still, it remains an excellent phone (for all ages).
New iPhone SE 3 arrives in stores in 2022
The MyDrivers portal reported that the testing batch is about to enter production. Logically, the next phase is indeed final (mass) production — destined for worldwide distribution.
Apparently, you won't have to wait long. Apple is doing everything to launch the iPhone SE 3 in the first quarter of 2022. Some rumors even suggest that the smartphone will arrive in stores by the end of March.
There are no confirmations yet about what the biggest new features of the iPhone SE 3 will be. Still, everything indicates that the smartphone will maintain its visual appearance and squared-edge design.
This also means that the Home button should still be present. And, if that is included, so will the Touch ID it integrates — allowing you to unlock your phone with your fingerprint.
But the Chinese portal's report goes further by practically confirming that the display size will be the same. If this suspicion is confirmed, it means that the iPhone SE 3 will continue to be Apple's smallest.
What should change is mainly the internal part. Presumably, the new iPhone should come equipped with the Apple A15 processor. In other words, this means that the smartphone will be much faster than its previous version.
This speed and improved performance will also allow for better photographic quality — thanks to the camera's capacity, which will be more apt to capture extraordinarily sharp moments.
This return was not at all expected, but it could anticipate another brand novelty: the withdrawal of the iPhone mini from the market. Thus, the iPhone SE 3 returns to fill that void, providing a smaller and more compact phone (especially when compared to the rest of Apple's range).
It remains to be seen if the iPhone SE 3 will indeed see the light of day. Of course, if all goes as usual, the smartphone's price should increase. Currently, the iPhone SE is sold starting from €425.57.
